Jason Aldean Talks About The Toughest Part Of The ‘Business!’
Hottest selling country artist in 2011, and nominated for 6 ACM Awards in 2012, including the big trophy of the night – Entertainer of the Year, Jason Aldean has been going non-stop from one city to another, and tells us more about his hectic schedule in an exclusive interview LIVE at the ACM Awards, powered by Ram Truck Brand.
“We got to a point to where we could go out and headline our own shows and do our own tour, the fact that we were finally able to do that and hit it hard, and play some of the places we haven’t played before. . . gotta strike while the irons hot!” Balancing that headlining tour schedule and time with family is “the toughest part of this business.” Over the last 6 or 7 years we’ve been working on ways to balance it out and finally got it figured out where I can work for a few days and then I get to come home and see them.”
Host Steve Grunwald asked how fishing fits in to his busy schedule. “Fishing and hunting too – especially hunting, I try to schedule family time around hunting!” At least he has his priorities straight! Get the full exclusive in the interview below!
Jason is nominated for six ACM Awards this year, including his second consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Also nominated for Album of the Year for My Kinda Party, Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” featuring Kelly Clarkson. His “Tattoos On This Town” is nominated for Video of the Year.
